30 years of the largest career fair within Economics and Management in the Nordic region
Each February, over a period of three days, the premises of Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) is filled with networking, information and inspiration. The ”eee-days” are a career fair that connects the School’s students with more than 60 of the most sought after employers within Business and Economics.
The student union, Lundaekonomerna, work hard to organize their biggest event of the year – and this year is without exception. 2014 marks the 30th anniversary of the event. Joacim Petersson, the general manager of eee2014, is proud of the project’s longevity: ”I’m extremely proud that eee has lived on and blossomed for 30 years. I’ve really come to love this project, and it warms my heart to see students and companies meet and network year after year - regardless of the society’s economic situation.”
The eee-days are a well established tradition at LUSEM, but Lundaekonomerna always strives to improve the event – the eco-certification of the eee-days is a great example. Joacim Petersson explains how the eco-labelled movement within eee started three years ago. ”It has since become a natural part of the way we work. The eee-days concept is in general quite a small event compared to many others, but it is really important that we try to minimize the impact we have on our surroundings and environment in every way that we can,” Joacim adds.
This statement offers hope for a further 30 years as one of the largest career fairs within Economics and Management in the Nordic region.
