Business challenges for the French corporate group Veolia were on the agenda when students from Sweden’s top business schools met in in Lund for the national finals of the case competition.

The winning team “Caseadillas Consulting”, consisting of the students Erik Månsson, Samuel Spjuth, Sara Sturesson and Edvin Sjökvist successfully solved a case that focused on Veolia’s business challenges, and how their core businesses can be expanded globally.

The winners are thrilled that their hard work gave results, and they are proud to represent Sweden in the grand finals in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in April 2019.

"Case training and case competitions is both motivational and educational, and something that we really take with us in the future," says Samuel Spjuth.

About the competition

KPMG International Case Competition (KICC) is one of the world's largest case competitions for business students.

It started in 1998 as a collaboration between KPMG and Lund University School of Economics and Management’s student union Lundaekonomerna.

The national finals are held in Lund every year, arranged by Lundaekonomerna and with assistance from our faculty Ulf Ramberg, Ola Mattisson and Mats Urde, who together make up LUSEM Case Academy.
