General Description

Lund University was founded in 1666 and has eight faculties. Over recent years, Lund University has achieved major success in obtaining large research grants. Lund is currently Sweden’s foremost research university, with an annual research expenditure of over €500m. In the humanities and the social sciences, Lund University is particularly strong in interdisciplinary research and has centres of excellence in innovation and entrepreneurship. The Department of Business Administration is home to the Research Policy Group which is the main host for the KNOWSCIENCE project.

Previous Involvement in Research and Training Programmes

The Department of Business Administration has a history of hosting Marie Curie Fellows and our research services department has a wealth of expertise in supporting fellows. The research policy group has been host to Marie Curie Fellows since 2012.  Additionally, the KNOWSCIENCE project is an international project which includes researchers from five European countries and involves as many universities. This group provides a good starting point for young scholars in the field to build and nurture individual international networks.
