Research Policy alternatively known as research on research, science policy, science dynamics and most recently research and innovation policy is an interdisciplinary field dedicated to the study of the governance and management of private and public research and innovation. The field has evolved over time and the public policy side has in particular shifted emphasis with issues such as entrepreneurship, academy-industry collaboration and innovation taking centre stage in the last decade. The Research Policy area at the Department of Business Administration is a research intensive unit. Our work is organized around three thematic areas and the doctoral programme in research policy. The thematic areas are currently knowledge, innovation and development; research policy and science dynamics and multilevel governance of research and innovation.
