The Nobel Prize Award Ceremony takes place every year on 10 December – the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death. Acquaint yourself with the Laureates in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel through the library’s new Nobel Collection, where you will find books by and about the Laureates.

The collection has been built up during the autumn and today you will find almost 400 titles with even more to come. The laureates are arranged chronologically, from the first recipients in 1969, Ragnar Frisch and Jan Tinberger, to this year’s Laureate, Angus Deaton.

While you are at it, explore the library’s wall of portraits of renowned economists next to the new study area. Here you will find internationally renowned economists such as Adam Smith and John Maynard Keynes, to economists from our own faculty, such as Knut Wicksell and Ingemar Ståhl.
