“International enviroment and high interaction with the students!”

– The best thing about teaching here is all the ambitious and nice students, not to forget all the international students! says Caroline.

Caroline Wigren-Kristoferson, associate professor in Entrepreneurship, teaches and conducts research at Department of Business Administration since February 2013. Caroline teaches at both Bachelor and Master level, for example at the master’s programme in Entrepreneurship.

With a degree from LUSEM/ School of Economics and Management, and then postgraduate studies at the International Business School in Jönköping, research in Cape Town and a stay at SCANCOR at Stanford, Caroline is back where it all began.

Caroline got her doctor’s degree in 2003 with a thesis on Gnosjöandan, a thesis which won the Entrepreneurship Forum price to young entrepreneurship scholars. When she received the award, she began to regard herself as an entrepreneurial researcher. – I always want to anchor my research in the community and try to make sure that the results are useful, says Caroline.

In addition to teaching and research projects, which now move much about lifestyle choices, Caroline also supervises graduate students. When teaching Caroline is happy to share her research and likes to get feedback from her students. – Teaching is a wonderful challenge!
